Ribeira Cinema Apartments are cinema-themed apartments, set on a historical building from the nineteenth century, completely renewed and rebuilt in 2013, located in Ribeira with a privileged view facing the river, where you will spend unforgettable moments!

The apartments, with astonishing first-row river views, are at the beginning of the Guindais Stairways, one of the most typical and iconic areas in the historical center, just next to the XIV-century city wall, facing Ribeira, the Douro River, D. Luis bridge, the Port Wine Cellars and “Serra do Pilar'' Monastery. Ribeira is very peculiar because of its traditional colorful narrow houses, stores, cafés, wine bars, Porto wine cellars, and restaurants.

The apartment's lobby entrance is at number 6 in “Escadas dos Guindais”, the red door accessible after 2 stair flights. The building has 5 floors, but most apartments get access directly from the street or the picturesque public stairs. There are 5 different apartments: 3 studios, 1 one-bedroom apartment, and 1 two-bedroom apartment. Apartments are movie theme decorated after Star Wars, Kill Bill, Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Princess Mononoke movies, so you can enjoy a unique staying experience in Porto.

The building has a small waiting room where you can leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out.

Guests are also welcome to use the Rivoli Cinema Hostel services and facilities, such as reception 24h, tours, BBQ and rooftop terrace, free maps, luggage storage, and our seasonal Rooftop Bar (May to October).
