Clérigos Cinema Guest House is a cosy, character-filled stay set inside a traditional Portuguese building located in a protected UNESCO World Heritage area in the historic centre of Porto. What makes it unique is the balance between privacy and shared experience: every room has its own private bathroom, while guests can also enjoy a spacious common area to cook, have meals and relax. The Guesthouse is inspired by iconic cinema, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels more like staying in a warm, curated home. To preserve the building’s original architectural characteristics, the property has five floors and no lift, with access by stairs only. ​

What we enjoy most about hosting is helping guests feel at home, offering local tips, and creating a calm, friendly environment where people can slow down, feel comfortable and truly enjoy their stay.

Clérigos Cinema Guest House is at number 64 in “Rua de Trás” in the Clérigos area, in the historic centre of Porto. The neighbourhood is lively and full of character, with cafés, restaurants, bookshops and viewpoints just around the corner. The iconic Torre dos Clérigos and Igreja dos Clérigos are only 120 metres away, while Livraria Lello is about 250 metres from the property. The Ribeira riverside can be reached on foot in around 800 metres. São Bento is approximately 500 metres away, with Aliados at around 600 metres, making it easy to explore the city and reach the airport. Despite being very central, the street itself is relatively quiet and comfortable. ​
